This years Tendring Show is to be held on July 9th at Lawford Park, nr Manningtree. Last year the weather was absolutely perfect fo the show, a nearly cloudless warm summers day! Let’s hope the weather doesn’t let us down this year. Nothing worse than tramping around the show in wet clothes and wellies, so w ar keeping fingers tightly crossed.

Amaryllis Belladonna

Amaryllis Belladonna

Every year, I am thrilled by increasing clusters of pink and white march lilies – Amaryllis belladonna – exploding as magic points of attraction all over my garden, each slender stem carrying about 12 trumpet-shaped and heavenly scented flowers with long, curved anthers about 50-60 cm above the ground. It’s always a delightful surprise to rediscover them as they bloom in the late South African summer months from February to March, then die back completely with the bulbs being dormant until the next season. I have seen fields of pink rising from the black ashes after the historic fires in the Western Cape in January 2000… right here on the mountain slopes in Noordhoek where I live… a real tapestry of a fiery pink phoenix rising from the ashes so to speak… miraculous to look at!

Amaryllis Belladonna Seeds

I told you about the artistic exploitation of my Amaryllis Belladonna photos as Wallpaper in an earlier article HERE and got a lot of interest as to how to grow these beautiful flowers. Well… there are of course the bulbs that can be divided during the dormant period and replanted with their necks at soil level – provided the porcupines in your area did not put them on their favorite dish as they did with practically all my Arum lilies and Iris.

Amaryllis Belladonna Seeds by Bianca Gubalke

However, when the flowers wither, they develop pockets with seeds that develop into fleshy, slippery, white pea-shaped seeds as you see very clearly – even still right on the flower – on my digital photo below… turning into a dark violet as they age. Be sure to put them into the earth when still relatively ‘fresh’ as they need the winter rains to build strength and germinate… although you may only see flowers after 3 to 6 years… so as everything in gardening: this needs passion and patience!

I usually have to be very quick to collect these seeds as I am working against a very voracious insect that ultimately attacks the whole plant: the black and yellow striped lily borer! However, I use no pesticides in my garden; this enemy can be taken off by hand. As it’s very quick in its destruction, be on the guard!

Having seen these little beasts in motion, I wonder what percentage of Amaryllis belladonna seeds ultimately gets a chance to develop into a full life cycle? Bulbs are for sure the faster solution and can easily be grown in pots using ideally a very porous soil mix. Cultivated plants bear regular flowers; in my garden they are all wild and ‘naturally’ grown. . . with bees as the main pollinator.

Anything you wish to add please feel free to comment.

Bianca Gubalke’s Semantic Art News

She likes graphic art and she likes to create. Bianca Gubalke is using her skill to surprise us with each image and there are quite a few now in my collection.

Of course it’s a race about keywords and Google besides the fun Bianca must have had creating the images.

Bianca Gubalke Header Design

The images I prefer however are those created with the Header designer from my web site and that’s why I will show you first the Jellybunny:

Semantic Art on Google

Google is semantically illiterate. A blunt statement and here is the proof, is it?

Today Google Search returns the following on Semantic Art:

Semantic Art on Google

Semantic Art on Google

The top ranking article from YORGOO Publishing looks as follows, in fact, it’s not even an article:

Semantic Art on YORGOO Publishing

Semantic Art on YORGOO Publishing

Amazing to reach a listing with some nonsense, or am I wrong? May be I am and may be Google is smarter than I ever thought: They must have understood exactly what the meaning was of that post and what I intended to say:“I want to go to Google’s Top 10 on Semantic Art.” yes, they understood and they are gullible: my little present helped to bribe that spider, huh.

I know now: Google loves me! Yes, and they show it well with all the attention I get. Watch this: if you type Semantic Art Images into the Google Search box you get:

Semantic Art Image on Google

Semantic Art Image on Google

Now this is extremely surprising: not only has Google given me top listing, but this smartest of all smart spiders has detected and  extracted the most important and deeply philosophical center piece of that genius post: just read above on the screenshot!

Incredible and just note: I had not defined an excerpt when editing and Google did not pick up the default 55 first words from WordPress, but they found the deep essence well hidden in the post.

Anyone else still claiming that Google is a semantic nutshell or fruit cake?

Oh, I just forgot: Semantic Art News is another good keyword and here we definitely excell:

A separate screenshot for the bottom two is needed here:

Semantic Art Image 4

Semantic Art Image 4

The semantic beauty is in thefact that Bianca Published my nonsense and I publish her smart stuff …:-). Which is also true for Yorgo Nestoridis News,  while YORGOO Press takes a mixed stand.

All this is pure semantic coincidence and just the image of a moment: I guess in a few days all my nonsense will have disappeared from any top ranking, or not?

How to reach Google Top 10

How to reach Google Top 10

Month after month, millions of top professionals and businesses invest heavily in the Art or Science of “How to reach Google Top 10″.

They – as everyone else on the Internet, ‘little’ Private or ‘large’ Corporate – have two choices: to make it to the right side of Google by buying Google Ads… which means daily budgets for visibility 24/7/365, precise keyword targeting and no guarantees – or they invest in the right script and tons of knowledge – for example by following the monthly online Seminars of Ycademy – in order to reach page one of Google on the left side.

The fact is: never mind how many search returns there are on a specific keyword or keyword phrase… there are only about 10 positions that really count and getting one of those is the goal. That’s today’s Formula One on the Internet.  That’s it!

Google Top 10 for Bianca Gubalke on Semiomantics XO

How to reach Google Top 10

In my various posts on “How to Create Interesting Images” – like HERE – I defined what I was planning, namely that I intended openly to reach Google Top 10 – and fast.

In the meantime, we had an astonishingly conplex and eye-opening Ycademy Seminar this past weekend that took all my attention, however, I was not disappointed when I checked my targeted search engine ranking yesterday and found yet another convincing result:

Mission Completed!

Mission Completed: in a first shot, our YORGOO Publishing Network covered a number of entries on Google Top 20 – as you can see on the link I gave you above… but my goal was to appear on Top of Google – meaning page one – with this, my Author Blog and the relevant articles published here – and I did as you see on the above screenshot! Position four!

An amazing achievement bearing in mind that the competition is fierce with 592,000,000 search returns.

Makes you think, doesn’t it?

Another demonstration of the power of Semiomantics Web Design – and if this makes you wonder about your own performance, meaning the Google rankings you obtain with your own websites and blogs and what you pay for your daily, monthly and annual Google Ads – for sure an ever-growing budget – then you may want to look into how to improve your Google rankings and contact us via http://biancagubalke.com/contact/ to discuss your needs and requirements and get a quote.

You can only win!

Conclusion

Our 12 hours campaign has proven to be extremely powerful. Please note that all involved posts have been posted according to the YORGOO Publishing Publishing Model from my Authors Blog at YorgoNestoridis.com. Editing as per YORGOO Press recommendations have been applied on the YORGOO Times site namely.

You can look up most any combination of “work at jelly” with other keywords, chances are that we will turn up on the top 10.

This is just a Demo Campaign without any commercial ambition, just to demonstrate an application of what we learn at Ycademy Online Seminars and by following Publishing and Editing Guidance from YORGOO Publishing. The use of Semiomantics Scripts makes things obviously easier.

Yorgo Nestoridis on Twitter

Yorgo Nestoridis a new name on Twitter

Having done my homework, I put my name at last to Twitter. The first Question is: do I use my name or my business brand to build my link and contact on Twitter?

Name or Brand?

I started the account with the brand name YORGOO as user name and then I changed to Yorgo Nestoridis. The reason is simple: I am on Twitter as a person, a human, making himself available for contacts, interaction, collaboration, and to help to people who may be able to find something interesting in my Tweets or web sites. Yes it’s YorgoNestoridis my user name now.

Is it ‘dangerous’ to use your name on Twitter? This will depend on what you post. My rule is: don’t put anything on the internet you don’t want to be seen publicly. Password protected areas and security are not reliable and cases where online exhibitionism back-fires are increasing. So, just stick with the rule and entrust the Internet only with Content you like to share publicly.

Twitter to Communicate

Twitter is a great tool to keep in touch with friends from all over the planet. It’s easy, fast and mainly FUN! The popularity of Twitter makes it a great tool for its users as you can link to so many people you may have lost in the online jungle.

Twitter to streamline Communication

I have integrated Twitter into my Publishing framework at Yorgo Nestoridis, where you can follow the time line in the sidebar and as a user of that site, I can Tweet directly from the sidebar. In fact I never need to go to the Twitter website to communicate.

On the other hand, the Tweets received and published on my Twitter account fly directly into my Site via RSS and animate a Twitter Category. All interactivity is thus projected onto my blog, easy to follow, to edit, to store or to delete.

My Twitter Profile

The personal Twitter Profile is a tricky issue. I have centralized my online profile on Cashflowin for various reasons. Again, I don’t publish what I don’t want to be publicly visible. Therefore I don’t need any password protection. Open profiles are more visible and namely more Google efficient.

Social Networks and such like sites who force people to sign up and to login to see your profile use your profile to build THEIR contacts and list, not yours.

Also I want my profile to be under my control, unassociated with third party ads. Cashflowin offers your optimized profile as a free service and it’s efficiency is easy to demonstrate by typing into Google any Cashflowin user’s name: the cashflowin hosted profile will show up most likely on your top 10 or 20 search returns.

For this reason I paste into the profile field just my Cashflowin Link leading to my Profile.

My Twitter Site Design

You may have noticed that most of my sites have a similar rather minimalist look when it comes to web design. Usually my colors schemes gravitate around Black, White and Red, therefore I applied the same colors to my Twitter page.

My Twitter Location

Yet another tricky issue as my online presence is not linked to a location nor is my activity. As I had once and for all decided to work online exclusively, I am not interested to split my time between offline and online meetings as the online contacts expect more presence, faster reaction and almost permanent availability. Online I can take care of more people in less time and help out where needed.

My Twitter Expectations

I am mainly expecting feed-back and reactions to find out what contacts think about issues of common concern, products we promote and services we provide at YORGOO and related Enterprises. Getting fast constructive feed-back will allow us to improve our services and live up to users’ due expectations. And then I am expecting to have some fun by reading Tweets and reacting to them.

My Twitter Fun

Linked to my online activity, my fun will consist in going after the Keyword “Twitter” on Google; I will track the results on this site and keep you posted.

At present there are some 724,000,000 Google search returns on Twitter which looks like an interesting mountain to climb.
