[Forum] How to Unlock the Power of Your Subconscious Mind
From Diet Blog Share:
From all the personal topics posted here, it is pretty evident to me that many of you are struggling with inner issues more than an external problem. External problems are so easy to fix, it should be child’s play. While the feedback I see given is sound, the core of the problem is hardly ever addressed.
I have a little technique that I’ve used and taught others to use successfully in the past. This is something that should bring an insane amount of value to those who need it, so pay attention.
Oh, and be advised you will struggle, it will be a challenge… but if you get through this, you will come out a new person. So, let’s get on with it:
You know what’s really messed up? Your brain and I are very similar. I mean really, we are so alike that it might scare you. The reason being is that your brain has an inner voice, and it’s so unapologetically blunt that it gives me a run for my money. If you have any shred of doubt, then let me prove this concept to you.
Ask yourself (or your inner voice which we all have) a question, any question…then notice how you start to come up with answers. If the question is pathetic and negative such as, “Why am I such a loser?” then your inner-self will come up with a few very good reasons, all of which are probably true.
But, here’s where things get really funky…like 70’s style. Ask yourself this question now: “Why am I so awesome?”…notice how your inner-self comes up with a few good reasons also.
So, what’s the point to all this? The point is, you need to realize that your brain doesn’t care what the CONTENT of the question is. It doesn’t care about your feelings, it doesn’t care what you might think about the answer, and it definitely doesn’t care what you do with the answer. All it cares about is answering the question you put forth.
If at this point you didn’t have an “ah-ha” moment, or realize the true potential for change, please stand in front of a mirror and smack yourself.
This concept of harnessing the unlimited power and resourcefulness of your inner self can leapfrog your success in health, fitness, wealth, or even total world domination. Not only that, you can have some fun with this stuff. For example, if I ask myself, “how I can achieve world domination?” My subconscious tells me the following: “Well to dominate the world, you need to lead, which you can do, but now you need to upscale it, and get the following of a billion little minions. They all need a 9mm hand gun, and a pair of nunchucks – no exceptions! Then brain wash them with an idea, and get them to fight for you, and take down any opposition. This should be easy since you’ll attract fit and healthy individuals, and most of the world is already getting fat. Then…”
Alright, so you get the point.
Now that we know how this concept works and how it can be “mind-blowingly” helpful, what types of questions should you ask yourself?
Well that’s simple, every question you mutter to your lonely self should start with, “How to…”, “How do I…” or even “What should I do…”. Doing this will trigger your inner-self (subconscious) to start looking for clues and facts to come up with an answer along with a few ideas. THEN, put that stuff into ACTION and you’ll be well on your way.
A few things to note: This re-calibration will take some time and effort on your part. If you’ve been asking yourself loser-like questions such as, “Why do I suck… ” “Why am I such a screw up…” “Why can’t I just get things right…” for the better part of 10+ years, then you will have your work cut out for you, especially for the first 2 weeks because you’ll CONSTANTLY catch yourself in the act.
Remember, baby steps is the name of the game here. You’ll notice that after about a month, your general hard-wiring will have been reprogrammed and now you ask yourself “how to..” questions on autopilot. This is where you want to be.
So, work on this and release the power of your inner-self. It will only make you super awesome.
The Reprogramming Drill
From now on, concentrate on asking yourself “how to..” questions for the next 30 days. If at some point you mutter an unproductive and pessimistic question, punish yourself in a positive way. Throw a buck in a jar or give it to someone you don’t really like. Whatever. Just do it.
Post your thoughts and or successes with this method. You’ve programmed yourself in a crappy way in the past, it’s time to change that up.
