Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – the Movie

Harry Potter struck again and kept as always the promise of delivering a 153 minutes high quality mix between adventure and fantasy… definitely an absolute emotional delight for all Harry Potter Fans and surely a way to escape what we understand as ‘reality’ (…TA!) and slip seamlessly into a world of Fun, Fantasy and Furore! This time with a little Amore … as even in Hogwarts kids grow up, hormones go crazy and the little Daniel Radcliffe we admired in the first Harry Potter now needs to shave… :)

Warner Bros. describes the story as follows:

“Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was.

Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information.

Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane’s chocolates! And then there’s Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again. ”

Harry Potter for Children and Adults

“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” is the 6th movie in an amazing and as always beautifully crafted adventure series based on the superb best-selling novel by J.K. Rowling.

I love these movies not only because they can be watched on different levels of depth and understanding by both children and adults – and there is no missing of their deeply anchored Keltic roots which are emphasized by some awesome real landscape shots (… filmed in Scotland I guess…) – but because of the arts & craft of the movie itself. What I mean is the superb setting and production design, camera work, lighting, directing by David Yates and the wonderful actors which all have that touch of ‘unspoiltness’ that brings and keeps them so alive and believable episode after episode.

Harry Potter Visual Effects

And having an artistic background, I totally admire the “Visual Effects”, the brilliant and often humorous touches in many scenes, starting right from the beginning when the titles dissolve in and out. It’s not l’art pour l’art – it makes perfect sense within the story. It’s organic, it fits. I remember experimenting with these exact effects when filming inks dissolving in water over glass in the mid-eighties; it was called “Time Made Visible” by the SWF Baden-Baden… The means were minimal against what’s possible with 3D Animation and Visual Effects today, however, it all existed in our dreams and thoughts then already – and becoming reality in today’s grand movies.

The camera was outstanding, sometimes capturing well-planned and orchestrated scenes from surprising angles in single long shots…. masterful and very interesting cinematography by Academy Award nominated Bruno Delbonnel.

Just as the transitions were superb and never confusing – great editing too!

It’s so precious in our time of fast gratification and superficiality to see what special attention is being paid to each detail. Clearly, it must be special to be part of such a production and to work for such a clear purpose – and the audience receives the message and rewards this thrilling series with unwavering loyalty.

No surprise… and then we already speculate as to what comes next!!!

Harry Potter Box Office

The film opened to critical acclaim and became an instant commercial success. It broke the records for “… biggest midnight opening gross of all time as well as biggest single-day worldwide gross of all time”

Incredible but true: in only 5 days the film made $391 million, breaking the record for biggest five-day worldwide gross in history.

My Tip: make this Harry Potter Movie a “Family Thrill” – go on a wizzard trip :)

There’s nothing like a real good movie watched in a real cinema!

Marketing Herbalife on Twitter, Facebook and Google Part 3

By Yorgo Nestoridis

Marketing Herbalife on Twitter, Facebook and Google Part 3

This post describes Goals and Means used for Herbalife Marketing on Twitter, Facebook and Google. Please read first Part 1 and Part 2 of this Guide.

Goals of Marketing Herbalife on Twitter, Facebook and Google

Assumptions:

1. You have a lead capture page to which you need to drive traffic for conversion. (The page you target with your Google Ads)

2. You have an online shop or Product page to which you need to drive traffic.

(If you don’t have any of these, it does not really matter as you can create them during the set up here.)

Goal:

Put your lead generator and product page in front of as many interested and ready to act people as possible, targeting the audience at Google, Twitter and Facebook to generate a growing number of sales and downline networkers in a streamlined and mostly automated way.

Sounds like a Great Challenge! But I will give myself the means to tackle it and the focus to succeed.

Note:

I will not discuss here automated and manual lead and customer follow-up systems as most Herbalife Teams get solutions from their upline Leaders.

Herbalife Distributors I need your Help!

As I am not a Herbalife Independent Distributor, I would like to offer to you, dear reader and Herbalife Independent Distributor the opportunity to profit from this demonstration and Guide, by letting our Marketing Machine drive traffic your way.

Use the comment box below to punch in (use the original post HERE to do this):

1. Something about You in two sentences (who and where you are, and something about your experience with Herbalife (Product and/or Business)). A link to your picture online will help.

2. Punch in the link to your lead generator (opt-in page) for business

3. Punch in the link to your product page

4. Punch in your primary targeted keyword for Business and the keyword for your Blockbuster product.

(Please remember: the Keywords are benefits your potential customers or partners are looking for.)

( Your comments will not be public unless you want them to be – just mention Public)

The Means to achieve my Goal

I have been building sites for years namely for networkers and marketing oriented people. Experience tells us, that if you don’t give yourself the appropriate means, you will never ever reach any tangible goal. It is therefore important to make sure your expectations are not beyond your means.

I remember John Peterson talking here in Athens in 2002 about the Carpenter who needs a set of prerequisites to build his piece of furniture and to succeed in his profession: the wood, the plan, the tools and the skills or knowledge PLUS COMMUNICATION.

Same here, we need to assemble the means which correspond to our ambitions, goals and purpose.

I will not go into the details about budgeting it all, I just take a short cut and budget for my online business $2000 and 4 hours a day, to be spent on infrastructure, knowledge and marketing to succeed on my 90 day plan with the following short term goals:

Goal 1: Rank on Google Top 10 at least with one entry under my 3 main keywords

Goal 2: Get daily 10 leads to follow-up upon for business expansion (from Google, Twitter, Facebook)

Goal 3: Sell one product daily

There you go! 4 hours per day and $2000 that’s what I will invest during 90 days to make my baby fly. If you invest less time, you have to increase the cash budget and if you want to move faster, you increase time and cash.

This plan is basically what I used back in 2002 to go from supervisor to GET in 90 days, winning by the way the 2002 Herbalife summer cruise bonus available for high performers.

Building your Business Online

Online Publishing – Domain and Websites

To be present online, you need to edit and  publish; you become an editor and publisher by setting up your website and by adding content to it which will attract readers.

Domain

As you have not yet had the opportunity to send me your keywords, I will use a generic domain name:

Nutrinsider.com

which I have registered at yorGOdom, our in house domain host we have set up back in 2003 to ensure full control over domains as well as tons of free stuff and unequaled customer service.

Budget: $12.95 per year.

WebSite Script

I want to use the best site scripts for this purpose to ensure high performance on Google and high speed automated communication with Social Networks as well as Bookmarking Networks.

You may have noticed, that any post I publish, reaches Google Top 10 under its main keywords, like our first posts in this series about Marketing Herbalife on Twitter, Facebook and Google. There is a good reason for it: I use Semiomantics Scripts for all my sites.

Example: Marketing Herbalife as seen on Google:

Marketing Herbalife

You may check out also Marketing Herbalife on Google, or Marketing Herbalife on Twitter or Marketing Herbalife on Facebook … my publications dominate the Google Top 10.

I get to start with a Semiomantics NewsCast Script which retails for $750, expandable to$1250 by adding a shop with semantic features driving shop items to the top of Google (the only shop which get’s products top ranked as far as I am aware of). We don’t need this add on as you have a product site or shop.

So, I spend $750 for my script and the Good News: I will never spend on Google Ads again :-) because my site is taking me where I would advertise for free, all day long, 365 days a year and I can multiply my entries.

Semiomantics Scripts are modified, tuned and optimized WordPress based semantic publishing frameworks. If you are interested in a Semiomantics site, please contact me.

Website Hosting

I just use the ChiHosters Unlimited Pack at $35 per year, which hosts some of my most important sites, such as YORGOO Publishing. This is a hosting pack, probably the best deal in the market, we have created for our own purposes and friends and namely to host self hosted WordPress and Semiomantics sites.

Social Networks

For the purpose of this demonstration I will just set up a new Twitter Account with the user name Nutrinsider a niche network builder for the purpose of my Herbalife related Marketing.

On Facebook you can use your personal site or you set up a new account where then we will add our professional page.

Booster or Blaster

To complete my initial mini publishing network I grab a YORGOO Booster or a YORGOO Blaster script for my niche sites. That’s another $67.

How about my Budget?

I have now spent $864.95 and I have eliminated all my Google Budget for years to come while raking in loads of Google traffic. My new budget projection would be, that I will probably not spend more than $1200 from the $2000 initially set aside to reach my goal, unless I want to build a high performance Semiomantics tuned store and a follow-up system.

Now let’s start putting some of our time into the business and get the online show up and running.

Marketing Herbalife on Twitter, Facebook and Google Part 2

By Yorgo Nestoridis

Marketing Herbalife on Twitter, Facebook and Google Part 2

This post will discuss some basic prerequisites  of Marketing Herbalife (or any MLM) on Google, Twitter and Facebook, while  Part 1 was dealing with a typical situation describing the effects and mechanisms of online Marketing focused on paid Google listing and Google Ads.

This post will set our focus right on our purpose which will be fundamental when building our online Marketing Pipeline.

Traffic – Leads – Conversion

In order to sell whatever we have to sell, we need to make sure that we can bring our products or services in front of interested people. In other terms, we need traffic, targeted traffic.

Traffic is then converted to leads, meaning contacts we can get in touch with, in one or the other way to promote our products and services, respectively to build trust and confidence by building a quality relation.

Leads convert to sales when we sell successfully … ourselves, in the ideal case.

Define your Business and Products – what are you Selling

Frankly, nobody needs you to buy Herbalife products or to buy a Business Pack online!

Most people have come across Herbalife in the past and they have probably already been contacted by mail or in social networks by Herbalife Independent Distributors. If someone wants to know more about Herbalife, he will punch “Herbalife” into the Google engine to get the picture or he can click on an ad to sign up with someone or they may have a neighbor or family member who is a distributor, and so on.

In any case, there is competition out there and we are in an environment where people are searching for what they want, when they want it.

Push Marketing is out, here comes pull marketing.

The important issue is: people must be able to find you when they are looking for the benefit you are promoting and then they must be happy with what they see, once they found you (empathy).

Visibility … like our Part 1 post from yesterday which hits Google Top 10:

Marketing Herbalife on Google, Twitter and Facebook

What is your Business?

Your business is not Herbalife, or rather: Herbalife is not YOUR business. Your business is You, it’s your company or Home Business that you define in function of your purpose, means, abilities, ambitions and dreams.

Let’s call it MyBusiness (we will find a name later).

What is MyBusiness? MyBusiness is a marketing business which markets and promotes the products and opportunities from a company called Herbalife. You are basically promoting YOUR business, which is the only way not to breach Herbalife Rules nor to infringe Trademarks or Copyrights. Stick with this most important rule.

Example: the use of the name of Herbalife in your Domain name is not allowed (or needs permission) and I wonder if the use of the name of Herbalife in your user name on Social Networks could not become a problem, since such user names tend to be converted to meta keywords on Twitter for example and therefore it could be a breach of the Herbalife rules.

What are you selling?

You are not selling Herbalife Shakes and Tablets, you are not selling Herbalife Business opportunities, you are not selling Herbalife. For as long as you focus on selling Herbalife, Pills and Powders and Biz ops, you will not sell with success.

Talking about Herbalife

Herbalife has a strict policy about what you can say and what is reserved for the official representatives of the Company itself. There are legal implications when and how you represent a product or a company. Stick with the rules!

To illustrate the problem: today I came across an article from the Ada Evening News while surfing the Google Top 10 on Herbalife, where excited Herbalife Distributors are talking to the press in a way which, I am not sure, is compliant with the rules.

Make it a rule to talk about YOUR Business and when you talk about Herbalife, always do it with due respect and caution; don’t kill the hen laying the Golden Eggs for you.

Your Marketing Lingo

We now need to translate what we have to sell into marketing lingo. Or rather, we have to find the keywords people would search for when wither wanting the results our products can procure or if they want to benefit from the business opportunity we have on offer.

Just dress a list of the benefits you have on offer, such as make money from home, make money with home business, earn online, lose weight, lose 20 pounds, get rid of your debt, …, whatever you have defined as being the benefits your business activity offers to prospects.

Marketing lingo is not “I sell Vitamins”, but ” I share with you the benefits”.

I did the excercise on over 100 Herbalife products available in the USA back in 2002 and created for each and every product a specific short ad. It is however enough if you focus on just a few blockbuster products, say 3-5 products or product groups, on which you focus to attract first time customers. Herbalife is of great help in as much as the group names may already be keyword oriented.

What’s your existing Online Infrastructure?

There are two websites you may have subscribed to with your upline team leader: a lead capture page (opt-in and auto responder system) and may be an online shop or product site. They both are Google neutral or inefficient, if they are replications, irrespective of the fact that you may have hooked your own domain to them.

Never mind, they will do the trick as they do the trick when you market with Google Ads.

If you have a domain, check if the domain name is Google efficient, either something neutral like your name or including one of your main benefits or keywords you are targeting; if this is not the case, consider changing your domain or getting a new one for your marketing online. We will go through an example when building our online marketing pipeline.

Don’t skip this step!

May be this post is not very attractive, but believe me, this is probably the most important part of this series of posts. You must know what your business is and you must know what the benefits are you are offering. And finally, you must know what keywords you will target, whether you do this with Google Ads or on Twitter or Facebook, it all boils down to the same:

People react to certain trigger words or key phrases. That’s what generates empathy, traffic, conversation and conversion.

It is also important to differentiate between your business and the MLM company you are a Distributor of. Keep in mind, you are building a Network in your own rights as an asset for your business. Your assets are your authority, traffic, prospects, customers, cashflow and partners in your networks, be these networks social or business related.

Spend time with this step to become aware who you are in this process, where you want to go and how you want to get there with what means.

Once your goals are clear, continue and you will see, what will follow is just technicalities and in support of your purpose.

Think and Grow Rich!

What the Heck are you doing online anyway?

You are basically developing your domain, authority, reputation and circle of influence. Look at it in a simple way: you buy a domain like a chunk of land and then you develop it. All you do all day long is to develop your domain by building assets.

The assets we are talking about are: visibility, authority, notoriety, traffic, leads, prospects, customers, customer care, cash flow…

You develop these assets under your business name irrespective of the business opportunity you promote and they will finally determine the value of your business.

If you got this one straight, you are on the right track and you will focus on just this one goal: develop your online (and offline) assets. The resulting cash is the measure for your success and your license from Herbalife is your means to convert your development to cash.

Look forward to Part 3 of Marketing Herbalife on Twitter and Facebook and Google where we will build our online infrastructure.

You are not selling Herbalife Shakes and Tablets, you are not selling Herbalife Business opportunities, you are not selling Herbalife. For as long as you focus on selling Herbalife, Pills and Powders and Biz ops, you will not sell with success.

YOU SELL RESULTS AND BENEFITS

Convert your product names into benefits, into results, into dreams. That’s where empathy is created. Don’t go out and talk science, or mix YOUR business up with the name of Herbalife, or perform a balancing act on labeling laws and other FDA rules by talking to the press about stuff which is not your business.

Just talk what’s really on your mind: YOUR BUSINESS, it’s mission and the benefits resulting for its customers.

You are not selling Herbalife in the first place but yourself and the benefits of your business. You are building relations, you are building trust and you are sharing your convictions, product and business experience. Direct selling is what it says: Direct selling! And that entails personal involvement. You are what your “label says” a Herbalife INDEPENDANT Distributor, so you see: you are not Herbalife.

Your Herbalife Business development is probably much less product driven than based on the personal relation you develop with your prospects and customers.

The primary rule is therefore: Your Authority, your way of life and the way you present yourself online will impact on the empathy you create. It’s less what you say, than how you say it and your results will confirm this.

Talking about Herbalife

Herbalife has a strict policy about what you can say and what is reserved for the official representatives of the Company itself. There are legal implications when and how you represent a product or a company. Stick with the rules!

Surfing Traffic exchanges

There is always a reason why one should surf a traffic exchange when trying to build a successful home business online.

Traffic exchanges provide good exposure for your website and if your site has an irresistable offer then this will mean business for you. Today I saw an absolutely irresistable offer, one which is too good to miss.

Downline Surfing

As in every traffic exchange you benefit by having downlines. In Webbizinsider, for every 10 pages your downline surfs, you receive one credit. The bigger your downline the more credits you earn when they surf.

Credits Mail

Another good way to earn credits is to read the credit mails that the owner sends out to his members. With each mail you can earn certain credits, and this is where I spotted todays great offer. It pays to read.

At the end of the day surfing is all about building traffic to your web site. Totally free website promotion.
